ABOUT US

ONE Church Lima has been in ministry for over 40 years. Our previous name was New Life Church International LLC.  We are a vibrant community of believers located in the beautiful city of Lima Ohio.

Our beliefs are based on the Bible and centered on Jesus Christ. Our mission is to lead all people to discover the joy that comes from knowing Jesus Christ and to honor him in their daily lives.

 

We invite you to come and join us at any of our services! When you come, we pray that you feel free to worship with us.  You'll experience a warm atmosphere, practical teaching from God's word, and people pursuing Jesus together.  We have children and youth ministry to engage the whole family!

We dream that ONE Church will be a place where worship inspires people to seek the fullness of Christ and move beyond their doubts and fears.  We dream that One Church will be a body where people embrace all Christ has for them.  It's holistic worship, where people honor Christ with their time, talent, and treasure.  It's a place where worship is a daily lifestyle; Biblically and unapologetically Spirit-Led.

OUR VISION

ONE Church will be a place where the love of Christ is made known within the local church and the greater community.  A place where people, regardless of their race, income, ethnicity or age can become a part of the Lord's work.  We dream that One Church will be a place where true care, real concern and authentic relationships are built and fostered.

We dream that ONE Church will be a place where people in our generation are transformed into modern-day disciples who live like Christ lived and love like He loved; a church where the discipled disciple others.  We dream of a Church family that is fiercely committed to winning souls; a family that serves in their church, in their homes, on their jobs and in their community.

OUR HISTORY

SMALL BEGINNINGS

  1. One Church Lima was started 42 years ago. 
  2. Originally started as a small charismatic bible study group
  3. New Life Church International started in 1997 and was located on High Street in Lima OH.   Bishop Darnell Williams, who was the lead pastor at the time, felt the need to expand to a new building and new location. 
  4. In 2019, the church relocated to our new location on Yoakam Road with services beginning in November 2019. 
  5. While preparing for the building dedication, the infamous COVID 19 pandemic happened.  During that time and corresponding months, several significant changes occured.   The most notable change was the Departure of Bishop Williams and Pastor Charlene who are now serving God as theological educators mentoring future leaders.
  6. In October of 2022, Pastor Paul and Fior Ross were elected as the new Lead pastor of One Church Lima.  Paul and Fior have three boys and one girl.  Together, they made the relocation from their home in Colorado Springs CO to beautiful Lima OH. They are God, family, and community focused and look forward to meeting you!
